Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

Hello!

I love fairy tales and I definitely lobe the lunar Chronicles series, so be ready to her me fan-girl! I read Cinder and loved it so much I made my friend read it and she loved it! I just read Scarlet a bit ago and can not wait to read Cress! If you don't know this series is a bout story retailing about princess's. The author does a great job really twisting the story into really unique ideas you would not guess. When I was reading this book the irony was unbearable. Of course there was a cute romantic love story in this book. But you would not think if it at the beginning, the author really makes you love the characters.

This book is about a girl named Scarlet who lives with her grandmother on the outskirts of Paris. Her whole life was normal until one day her grandmother goes missing. The whole book is her on the mission of finding her grandma. One the way she meets a boy named wolf who may have some answers. The story retailing in Little Red Riding Hood.

Synopsis:

Cinder, the cyborg mechanic, returns in the second thrilling installment of the bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She's trying to break out of prison--even though if she succeeds, she'll be the Commonwealth's most wanted fugitive. Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit's grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother's whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner.

This book was so good and I really would tell everyone to read this series! I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

Happy Reading!
-Elizabeth
